3 cars
Hey guys,
Just wondering, who all here owns 3 cars? If so, why, and do you wish you had more space? I'm wondering because we are renting but only have a 2 car garage. All logic says *no* but I want something faster (and don't want to sell my FRS). I'll probably wait until I can buy a house, but I'm bored so |

I've got 5 cars plus 2 parts cars and 2 projects.
I've got 2 at my apartment, 1 at a friend's garage/shop, and the remaining 2 drivable cars and 4 projects/parts cars are stored at my parent's farm in another time zone. Next month I'll be moving to an apartment with my fiancée, and there are only two spots, one of which will be need to be taken by her car. So I'll then have 9 cars, only one of which I'll have access to at any given time. Life was so much easier that 6 months in my life where the only car I owned was an NA Miata. Just make your FRS faster. |

I have 3 cars currently.
1. 13 BRZ 2. 05 Outback XT 3. 16 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Wish I had more space even though I do have a stall for each car. Sucks in the winter because I have to pull out 2 cars to work on 1. I own 3 because no reason to drive the BRZ in the winter when I have the means to have a 3rd car to daily while my wife has the Jeep. |

Before I moved, I had 3 cars with just a 2-car garage. It was a PITA having to move cars around all of the time when I would need to get something out of the garage, the car sitting outside needed so much more cleaning/maintenance being exposed to the elements, and I paid higher insurance rates for the car not being garaged.
A 3 car garage was the only "must have" when I bought my new place. Even so, with the 3 cars, it is cramped. The plan is to put a lift in and open up a space in the garage that way. From experience, I would recommend waiting until you get a place. Of course, car guys (myself included) are not always known for making logical decisions |

I got BRZ for daily, Mazda 3 (ex-winter beater) and Jetta for wifey.
I could put 3 cars in my driveway and 1 in garage, but currently Mazda stays in garage till I get rid of it (very soon). But its pain to shuffle cars in case I have to work on my or wifes car in the garage or if she have to leave before me as I have single lane driveway. I will be getting rid of mazda soon as I daily BRZ now and getting a project car to work in the garage. |

I have three vehicles.
2006 Honda Ridgeline - Bought brand new - 195,000 miles. Was my vehicle for a few years, then I bought an S2000 and gave the truck to my wife. Now she drives a 2007 MDX. I have the 2013 FR-S. My family moved out of state and left a F350 4X4 Diesel work truck with a Dump bed. So I can also use it when needed. I have a single stack driveway, which is a PITA with the three cars!!! ( the ford truck is parked different property) I'm Thinking about selling my TRX450R ATV to get a small street bike. I really like the R3.

Have 3, one is dead but thankfully not in the way. Once it's running again we'll have to see what happens. I always want more space. One can never have enough vehicle storage space.

We own 3 (FRS, MR2 Spyder, and a Honda Accord). I have no garage and my driveway fits all 3 but only one car wide so parking in order sucks lol.
The accord is my fiancée's car and I switch between the MR2 and FRS but usually drive them for 2-4 weeks at a time while the other one stays parked. We want a fourth car (need something bigger and AWD) but gonna have to wait for a new house I think cuz parking on the street can result in broken windows too easily. Just park on car in the driveway and park accordingly to what will be drive that day. |

Yea, it would be a 2nd car for me. 3rd is the wife's.
Motorcycle seems the logical choice, but I'm not sure I have the self-restraint to be safe on one. |

I was up to 7 at one time. I've been thinning the herd the last decade. I'm down to 4 now. I'll probably be back up to 5 when my 16yo starts driving.
2 car garage and 3 wide driveway. You get used to shuffling cars around. Why? I like cars. Wish I had more space? Yes. |
