Whiteline MaxG Coilover for FRS/86/BRZ

Hey everyone, just wondering if anybody is running the MaxG Coilover and how you find them? I have heard that they are built by a reputable company in The Netherlands. Feedback on these would be great

Send a message via AIM to Racecomp Engineering
Built by AST, tuned by Whiteline.

No first hand experience, but I'd like to try them.

I've experienced various stages of the dampers. They're similar to other AST, but with a slightly different flavor. What kind of balance are you looking for?

Sprint rates are 285lb front and rear, which is not a bad place to start, and it's pretty much an AST 5100 so I assume they don't have to go back to whiteline for work and you can add external canisters with more adjustments if you want later.

And you can get a set for like 1800 which is a pretty good deal. But I wonder about what's going on with that. Original msrp is 2800 and I think maybe they weren't too popular at that price. I kind of wonder if they cut costs somewhere compared to the AST and/or they're going to be around much longer.

Does ast still make the 4100? Don't see it on their web page.

No I think they stopped with all the 4000 series stuff. The only difference going to 5000s is inverted struts, and they're not as expensive now.
