I'd be interested to know as well cause I like the way it sounds, it produced about the second best dyno results in the dsport article and it is priced really competitively. The tips do look cheap but for the money I could easily just buy replacement tips. I know someone on here was complaining that the burnt tips weren't burnt evenly but other than that I haven't seen any quality complaints that I can recall.

I own it. It has a really good design that is very tucked for lowered cars. My tips are angled incorrectly but I just need to take it to an exhaust shop for them to heat and bend the hangers. I love the exhaust.

Any other exhaust mods? I'm curious how the sound changes with a high flow catted front pipe and potentially catless header.

Nothing yet but it will just continue to get nasty and nastier with a test pipe and headers.

Depends on if you like a really aggressive, raspy, in your face boxer sound.

It has been discovered it is made in China. FWIW.....

Now, if that affects in any way your decision to get it or not is entirely a personal choice

Not all things made in China are made equal. It's hard to engage in some critical thinking but .. when someone has something made overseas there is a wide range of standards by which their product can be produced - and it comes down to how much they want to spend.

I've seen product coming out of China that is really indistinguishable from something made with care domestically .. and I've also seen a ton of product that is complete .. thoughtless .. cheap junk. Because if the state of the car market these days - and everyone wanting a "bargain" (1000 sets of Rota's sold per 1 set of say, Work wheels) you're more likely to find a company on the CHEAP end of the spending spectrum.

Now as far as ISIS goes - I have very little hands-on experience with their products so I can't offer a review. What I can offer is some advice: research things that matter. Country of origin doesn't mean as much as we'd like to think.

Design is good, Quality is sub standard.

Don't bad mouth China too much. Our Iphone's and Ipads are made in China

Basically EVERYTHING right now is made in China. The difference (using the ipad/iphone example) is that the Ipad/Iphone is made in a tightly controlled (by Apple, USA) environment. So basically what empower-auto holds true. You can get GREAT quality, like you can also get junk. IMHO I wouldn't put my hand in the fire for designs coming from China with little to no oversight and/or control.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but what makes you say the quality is substandard? Just wondering if you have personal experience or anecdotal evidence that these aren't built very well.
