From Salvage to Dream Car

This is my journal for my first 86. After seeing this car and reading about how great and fun it really is I knew one day I would have to own one. Im 17 and school and sports takes up a majority of my time. I've never had enough time to get a job but I knew somehow I would need to make enough money to buy this car. I worked tirelessly doing odd jobs and saving up as much money as I could. I saved up about 10k when I saw this supercharged raven frs in arizona. It was exactly what I was looking for and it was really cheap! It had been in an accident and was rebuilt. I worked and worked to save up enough to buy it and I finally had enough! I contacted the owner and told him I'd drive five hours to pick it up in arizona. Me and my friends love car projects so this thread will document all the mods I do to the car.

Current Mods:

Engine:
Sprintex Supercharger with intercooler
Mishimoto Oil Cooler
Moto-East E-85 Tune

Exterior:
Spec-D Black Headlights
Tinted Tail Lights

Interior:
Infamous Shift Knob
Custom Carbon Fiber Trim
Escort Passport 9500XI Radar Detector

Suspension:
TRD Lowering Springs

Mods To Come:

Valenti Smoked Tail Lights with Smoked 3rd Brake Light
Tomei UEL Header
Extreme Dimensions Carbon Fiber "T" Hood
Aero Kit ( Havent decided)
TRD Rear Garnishes
Quad Exhaust
Car Wrap (Matte Grey/ Gunmetal)
Diode Dynamics Full RGBW Setup

First day I picked her up:

Out of these three, flex fuel is the easy call.

Still you'll probably need to get the car re-tuned for both the header and flex fuel kit. For that reason you really should do both at once to save some cash.

I'd leave the tail lights alone until you get both of the above performance mods taken care of first. Save up if need be. I know it's hard when other mods (like tails) are calling.

Alright thanks a cheap flex fuel kit just showed up on the forums and I'm gonna buy it it's an FA20 Club flex fuel kit and I'm just confused because I can't find anything on that company besides that their turbo kits blew up some engines. Is the flex fuel kit from them gonna be fine?

From everything I've read (no personal experience) FA20Club is ok, but I think you'd be best checking out the software tuning thread on this subject to be 100% certain.

Saw a new 86 while I was parking. Had to take some pics. (My stock wheels are on because I'm painting my others black)

Saw you de-badged the car and stuck on a TRD one. Any plans to put some Toyota badges on? the hood looks like its missing something imo but the back looks good clean. I think your car looks better than the GT86 too. I just cant like that 2017 front bumper.
