Changed Braked fluid to AMSOil series 600 DOT4 for track day

I decided last night to change my brake fluid out as I have a Track Night coming up here today. My BRZ is about 2 years old, and I have about 20K miles on it, and 2 1/2 seasons of autocross as well.

Since I'm an AMSOil dealer, I decided to give the series 600 DOT4 fluid a shot. It gets pretty favorable reviews on other forums, and my cost ends up meing quite a bit cheaper than ATE or Motul, so what the heck!

I ended up buying and using 3 12ounce bottles. I ended up running about 300ml through the rear right, 250 through the rear left, and about 200 each on the fronts.

Pretty easy to do, I just used a 10mm wrench and a 1-man bleeder hose that I've been using. The rears take about 25-30 full pedal depresses to move all the fluid through, the fronts around 20.

You can see the bottle on the left is from the rear of the car, and is the original fluid flushed out. The bottle on the right is the fronts, which obviously has newer fluid mixed in.

This is what the resovoir looks like with the new stuff:

Initial test just driving around are good, nice pedal feel. I'll see how it does on the track tonight!

They'll take it - but they'll be half-eaten (at least!) burned, cracked by the end.
Edit: I've removed the word useless from here...they still work, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use burned & cracked pads.

This is how they'll look (at least). My track day was cold (10 degrees) and relatively short, 7x12 min sessions.
