Defective Port installed Borla exhaust

I ordered my 2014 FRS with the port installed Borla exhaust(SET option). The exhaust seems to be defective as the exhaust tip on the passenger side is lower than the on the drivers side. I checked and it's nothing wrong with the attachments on the car, it's definitely manufactured with one side higher than the other. What do I do? Thanks!!

If you can't figure out an easy way to fix that, any good muffler shop could fix that in short order.

It's not that big of a deal. Over time, parts of the car will become uneven. It's normal. Nobody really looks at the exhaust tips anyway. If you're OCD, I can make two suggestions:

-Paint the tips flat black
-Fiddle around with the exhaust hangers.

If it will make you feel better, I'll trade you one of the two catback exhausts that I have.

Any good exhaust shop should be able to "tweak" it for you. Sometimes production tolerances stack up against you. If you think yours looks bad, you should have seen my TRD cat-back when I first got it...

DANG, becauseracecar, I reckon your OCD is in advanced stages....

Well, if meds don't help ..... as I see it, you have several options:

* just get over it.

* spray paint the stuff behind the tips flat black (lessons places for the eye to compare on).

* like mentioned, take it to a muffler shop and let Bubba bang on it.

* and .... the redneck way (takes three people).....one to place a long piece of water pipe inside the tail pipe to move it ..... one to heat up the back of the tail pipe with a torch ..... and one to stand back to see when they are straight.
