I honestly wouldn't drive the car any further than it takes you to deliver it to the dealership. Because of the number of reported incidents, I suspect that the only way you will be truly "in the queue" is if they take possession of the car and hand you keys to a loaner - the dealer has skin in the game at that point. More importantly, several of the posts here suggest that additional damage has occurred in some cases as the car continued to be driven.
