Thanks, we'll see how it sticks. The last time I tried a (new) 02 Tacoma I had it less than two years. A transmission that could not make up its mind and a tailgate that could not withstand a lightweight dirtbike, were its downfall.
My old truck, now a winter beater with 200K was bought new in the fall of 2005, it has been flawless. Silverado Duramax/Allison
I just don't need a truck that big anymore.
Sad part is the Tacoma was more expensive than the Silverado was 14 years ago, and gets worse MPG.
When I bought the Chevy diesel fuel had been .50 cents a gallon cheaper than gas for a decade. almost immediately it flipped, and has been .50-1.00 more per gallon ever since.
I went to buy a TRD Off-Road, but there were a few things I was going to change on it. In the end they gave me a stupid price on the Pro. I'm happy.
