Really good read. I have to say I totally agree with the OP regarding the current generation Mustang. I have driven the V6 and GT w/track pack, and I really wanted to like both cars, but at the end of the day they were not the cars for me (for the reasons the OP mentioned after actually owning one). The GT is a power house, but it is more of a one trick pony (no pun intended) and you will hardly ever be able to use the full potential of the engine unless you are tracking the car, or taking it to the dragstrip.

I am interested in hearing how the 2015's handle. I was hoping for a lighter Mustang that was more focused on handling and steering feel, but I am not sure that is what we will get.
