Big rocks are a valid concern. I've had to replace three windshields over the years.

The OEM plastic grill is enough to keep out the really big stuff.
My recommendation of a Jackson Racing oil cooler being the bare minimum for a car driven hard is based on a stock engine. Modified engines may need **more** cooling.
