Good overview, didn't miss anything I could think of. The comment regarding the steering wheel being real leather made it sound like the previous one is not. Pretty sure it is though. I prefer the look and purity of the earlier one without the buttons. I sort of feel like we are comparing an AP1 to an AP2. Many people believe most purists prefer the AP1.

Yes I like extra features, and I do have most of that stuff in my other car. However, the quality I most appreciate in my FR-S is the ride, and that completely blurs the manual climate controls, no steering wheel buttons, less dressed up cabin. Not so sure I'd be as happy with a fully equipped, but all-stock twin if I were to update..

For me, driving a car with more content is a completely different experience from the raw visceral feel of my FR-S as it is presently. I am just a set of coillovers away from completing it. (note to self, the Meister R's are back in stock, time to pull the trigger). One is not a substitute for the other. I am just thankful I am able to enjoy both experiences.
