VERY interesting that you mention this -- I just recently went back to stock exhaust (except for UEL catless header) and I have this same thing happen. I've always assumed the downshift spike in the revs was causing the engine to move within the mounts, and thus the exhaust was clanking against something real quick. Curious if we find out otherwise...
