Got a little bit of a late start from four corners because nasty traffic on 880 held some folks up. BIG respect to @
Zen86 and @
Xerious who came all the way from Stockton and Tracy! Skyline was foggy and wet in spots, but otherwise beautiful. Quick breakfast at Alice's, and as soon as we got rid of the tow truck headed up 84, got a nice pace going. Thankfully the CHP only gave us a close look and no tickets. (Realized a little late that we probably should have issued a warning about Stage Rd. - yes, it is a "farm road," so apologies for the bumpiness!) Quick stop in Pescadero. (Too bad they were out of bear claws, eh Bob?) And got stuck behind a mom in a Honda the way back on Pescadero Rd. to 84, but the scenery was still pretty. Some of us went our separate ways back at Skyline, and the rest down at four corners again. Great to meet new folks, always such a good crew, respectful drivers and good company! (Sorry we forgot to take pics. Did anyone else remember to? Hope so, because "otherwise it didn't happen" right?)
Anyway, looking forward to seeing everyone at the summer meet!
