Hah, point taken but you'd be surprised how much damage it could absorb. I was run off the road in my MR2 and hit a bridge abutment at about 25MPH with the front left corner of the car. It was back on the road about 3 weeks later good as new (I drive it another 80,000 miles) , and I suffered no injuries.
And no, I wouldn't want to do it again. Its a miracle it wasn't more serious, not my day to die.
