So which one is "CF" and which one is "CFRP"? They're all "CFRP" and they're all "CF". That's what the post I quoted said, "CF or CFRP".

As far as the difference between prepreg and wet, I believe when OEMs do wet layup they would have a process to ensure no voids and similar strength to prepreg. Forged composite parts are also quite strong despite chopped fibers. It's about getting the fibers closer together, whatever process used doesn't matter.
