I'm sorry, I didn't explained well. I believe air does go into the tube but stops at the diaphragm. What I meant to say was no air goes inside the cabin. I think the air does not create a turbulence, because (and this is just strictly IMHO) the sound tube just fills with air one time to move the sound waves and that's it. It is not continuously sucking air at various speeds which would create the turbulence.
