I was thinking about this issue a while ago, and I decided that if I was denied a repair because of competing, I would spend money on a good attorney because when the head engineer brags about having enough room in the trunk for race tires, the car should be capable to participate autox or HPDE days with undue damage. In other words, if it is sold as a sports/track day car, but it can't handle the stress, then it sounds like intentional fraud to me.
