TRD parts are cool mods. Til you realize you're replacing perfectly good stock brakes, wheels/tires, sway bars, shocks/springs that have tons of life left. You already paid for them in buying the car; now you're going to sell them at a loss? Then lose
more money buying marked up TRD parts (or lose a little less if you buy used)? Then lose
even more to get them installed? Which sometimes costs more than the part being installed and why I gravitate towards DIY. But I still want these parts. I hope they come pre-installed in a TRD or STI or PROVA edition. They may have a higher sticker price but should cost less than modding a stock car.
Toyota really knows how to gyp you! I've fallen for it several times over.
