I see your point, but for the money - no. If I'm paying $35k+ then I don't expect to deal with an engine configuration set up specifically for an economy car. It's easier to justify the cost even if it's econo-car based if you also get AWD in the deal.


Honda better release another version. It's shameful that the CTR is the heaviest Civic you can buy. The Type R version historically (and almost ALWAYS) was the lightest version of the car available.

It would be great if they threw the 2.0T into the base spec coupe body and stripped the options down to the bone.
