huh...have you used a modern TC? even the 6 speed AT in the 86 does a very respectable job. What more control does a DCT give over a TC...?

And how can you not fathom people wanting to shift themselves when you have a S2K in your profile picture and when you're on a site for a car that has had the highest MT take rate among today's 2 doors...



...clicking a paddle does not give me any satisfaction
...the computer shifting insanely quick does not give me any satisfaction
...getting to the next stoplight a few extra seconds quicker than someone using a stick does not give me any satisfaction

what does an automatic transmission actually provide? laziness? saving your hand/knee? easier ability to text & drive?
