True if talking about some knock off third party items but not even remotely close if built by any large international company. Where I work has 250 plants in over 40 countries and each and every one of them has to meet the same standards. Quality, safety, process, management systems, etc are all identical so a part made in the US and one made in China, India, Mexico or Lower Slobovia are all exactly the same. This applies to all major manufacturers for the last 20 years or so. The whole "it is better if made in the USA" thing is an old school thought and more propaganda than reality for many, many years now.
