Yeah the traffic thing is blown out of proportion. I manage stop and go by keeping a little extra distance and roll along in first gear, never needing the clutch or brake at all. My foot says on one pedal the whole time rather then moving back and forth between the throttle and brake like all the autos around me. In first you can idle down to about 3mph and all the way up to about 16mph without buzzing like boy racer. When you get into the traffic where it's primarily stopped with an occasional clutch bump to move 1ft it can get annoying but not enough to throw out all the fun you get when not in traffic.
