What about mileage? Is that not saved on the ecu?

Is there a procedure for swapping a new one in? (i.e. you have to go to the dealership, you have to reset something on the car for it to accept the new ecu, anyone have a procedure for doing this)

It sounds really easy and really too good to be true. Are you sure?
