That's always the case - you could have said that about your exhaust and tune $$$
They're definitely worth it if you are doing all the bolt-ons and planning on staying NA and pump gas. They beef up the upper-midrange and are a nice compliment to headers (which usually flatten out the lower range). As with anything on this car (aside from FI) no bolt-ons are going to make it a rocket
