A smart business manager will know which salesman to pair with a particular buyer. I called the dealer in advance to confirm availability of the 86's and he set me up with a younger guy who was familiar with the car and was into cars him self. I ended up being his first sale working for that dealer .

The finance advisor I dealt with was very cool about the entire process. He managed to grab me a better finance rate after I left which he didn't have to do. Then we traded stories about cars, bypassed the upselling and i got what I wanted.
