As for the numbers issue everyone is talking about, it sounds like what will be made for Japan only. As far as numbers being written differently in Japanese, I don't think that's the issue.
For example, 2,500,000 Yen if often written as 250万円 where the 万 means 10,000.
1,000 can be written as 千
Not sure how the two would be confused unless the translator sucked...but then again, most of the Japanese career Engrish teachers here can't speak enough English to save their life.
