It does get a little louder compared to the stock header but nothing crazy - it's probably one of the quieter header options out there having a cat and longer piping. Your setup might be slightly louder than mine, I run a Greddy SP Elite axle back, this header, and the in-between is stock. Very civil. Here's how it sounds, warm start:

I personally love this header - a good bump in power and has a nice exotic-like tone when you get north of 4k.
