NSX was great for it's time, but it has been long past in engine design (vtec techniques aren't new anymore, S2000 had a much more advanced engine), chassis design (LFA doesn't use any steel and plenty of carbon fiber), performance (GTR, nuff said), and pretty much every category. Ferrari alternative for it's time? Sure. Best car ever out of Japan? Not if you include the 30 years after 1991.
The NSX is easily one of the best cars to ever come out of Japan.

You mention the LFA...doesn't that car cost almost $400,000? I'd hope it doesn't use any steel at that price.

The GTR is an over bloated automatic transmission car that costs an absolute fortune to keep running. I know...I have a few friends who own them. Have you priced what a brake job, oil change, etc. on a GTR costs? Might be fast, but it is hardly a great car to own, nor is it one of Japan's finest.I guess if you're Bill Gates you could afford to keep it running.

I won't even mention you're bad at math.
