mazeroni i hate to say it, but I really hope you're wrong. Sub 40k for that performance level means it has to sacrifice a lot to get to that price point. I hope it's 60-80k, well equipped and plenty powerful. Hybrid stuff has been all but guaranteed since the beginning, and I'm okay with that too. This isn't a back to basics car, this is is supposed to be Alduin the World Eater.
Edit: Oh yeah, and Toyota has already scrapped a mule before this and started fresh, but most people aren't aware of that. They'll happily do it again if it means getting it right.
