The solution is really quite simple: 1) Obtain supplemental coverage for non-standard driving practices and events or 2) Stop posting everything online for the world to see.

Whether or not the insurance company is morally or ethically correct about the inherent risks of autocrossing or HPDE participation is irrelevant, as unfortunate or misinformed as that may be. What matters is that they are legally correct (assuming the information in the article is accurate). And as a private enterprise, they have every right to exercise their rights. Just as we drivers have every right to seek out alternative insurance coverage that satisfies our requirements.
