Full throttle Electric Supercharger Build Thread

Phantom Full Throttle Supercharger: March 23rd 2015 update

Hello FT86club! In attempts to clarify what is in the new kit and the procedure to order we have moved the original post 1 of this thread to post 5. Post 5 now contains the Phantom "story" and updates i provided after new revisions to the kit and dyno sessions.

What is the Phantom FTS/ESC (Full Throttle Supercharger / Electric SuperCharger)?

The Phantom ESC is a entry level forced induction system that can provide up to 5psi of boost for short durations of time (1 to 1.5 minutes continuous). It achieves this by utilizing 2 batteries wired in 24v configuration and segregated from the cars standard 12v system. Power is sent from the 24v battery array through a custom built DC motor controller and on to a High power DC brushless motor.

When fully charged the unit consumes approx 4000watts and will deliver ~5 psi down low tapering to 2 psi by redline.

Expected HP figures using the OpenFlash Tablet off the shelf tune developed by @Shiv@Openflash are ~205/215 hp and 190-195tq on 93 octane or 225hp/205tq on e85.

PM Robftss to be added to the waitlist, once your place in line comes up you will be contacted with ordering information:

Rev 2 kit details:
The Details:
Rev 2 does away with the need of the 1.5 conversion to get the extra boost that the conversion offered. The new batteries in this revision maintain slightly higher WATTS/AMPs as the 1.5 conversion. It also includes a new lighted compressor wheel(by 50%), new controller cooling, better thermal tolerance, new wiring harness and partial boost! The kit being offered has everything you need to fully install the TQ250(with partial boost) and the new auto on/off relay(so you don't have to worry about switching it on and off every time you drive the car).

Price of the kit is as follows:
Full TQ250-24V = 1850USD + shipping (Usually 25 to 45 depending on location)
Includes:
-TQ250-24v Supercharger
-Integrated auto on/off arming switch with red display
-5kw controller with internal reinforcements and cooling improvements
-Lightened compressor wheel
