You won't need a solid spacer unless you're putting down MASSIVE amounts of torque. You'll break your factory trans long before your ring gear successfully shoves the pinion forward. My rear end had under 2000 miles and the factory spacer was reusable. Same for the pinion nut.
A solid spacer won't hurt but definitely isn't mandatory.
I would highly recommend adding
side seals to your list as they'll likely need to be popped out to check diff clearances. They're cheap.
