Adding more grip is just going to dial that out. On the track sure fine, on the road, not so much.
Not particularly, I wouldn't bother changing the tires out if I got the car. It would be best if they came with 16" wheels since tires are cheaper. If I were to buy the car, whatever tires it comes with, I'll use them up, and then buy the next set based on whatever good deal I can find, maybe summer performance to see what the craze is all about.

However a lot of people appear to see higher grip tires as something very important, so I'm suggesting that perhaps they shouldn't be focusing on tire size but rather tire compound.
