Also, the Manual transmission holds more torque than 309 LB-ft. The clutch is a wear item and not considered part of the transmission when talking about "how much it holds". The 6 MT has not bulged on over 400 LB-ft.
HONESTLY, I have no idea for sure.
After spending maybe 5 hours on internet researching this, I at first thought it was the TB60 because that's the one they use in the Lexus, but after doing additional research just now, I am thinking it might be a modified TL tranny:

...I returned back and asked Tada-san with a few questions. First up
the automatic. Why is it so damn good? Well it turns out it is based on
the Lexus ISF's 8-speed transmission, probably one of the best torque
converters in the world known for machine-gunning through gears and
serving up delicious rev-matched downshifts. For the FR-S two cogs are
removed obviously and the solenoids that shift the ratios aren't quite
as advanced but that is one hell of a lot of technology to be putting in
a little sports car like this.

and
SOOOO technically, it should be good for up to 20PSI on current turbos and the torque they produce.

I will e-mail Aisin directly and ask them for more information on the transmission.

I'll keep you posted on this.
