If a true trade war commences it will benefit no one. Materials will become more expensive, there will be material shortages, products will become more expensive because many companies will be forced to pass along costs to consumers, cut labor forces, and in some cases, close down. It is also likely that competition (which often leads to innovation) between and among certain companies in various fields will suffer as well.

Does no one in this administration understand history and the lessons it has bestowed upon those who are willing to research or at least listen?
