I've got a buddy who's got 310k miles on a highly modded and daily-driven Mk.3 Supra. He's been hot to buy the Mk.5 since it was first announced. Now that the specs and first reviews are out he hates it. He's about fifty. For him it's not about the money but the excitement of Toyota. I was never in the market but it seems to me they've alienated a lot of die-hard Toyota fans. Whatever. Home page looks better. Interested to see how that partnership develops and what it means for the next-gen 86/BRZ.

I think Toyota doesn't know how to make good sports cars and they've done a stroke of genius by paying people that do know how to make fun cars to make cars for them, just like they paid Yamaha and Lotus in the past. The Zupra is a small BMW M-hatch, coincidentally BMW made the last great 2-door RWD hatchback and I am seriously looking at the non-M clownshoes as a ~$10k fun car.
