Not sure if he did get paid after that, but if it happened, I can definitely see someone recouping payments to the forum for something he was never paid in the first place.

Was he paying to be a sponsor of the site? Yes at one time. I have no idea if James was charging for services nor have I seen the offending content that resulted in his ban. I did see him talking about opening a shop, doing tunes, etc then it turned into actually doing tunes. Then the shop name came. It's not really our place to tell him to charge for tunes or not but one has to assume that he is, even if it's a 6 pack of beer that's still "payment".
Again though, I didn't see the posts/PMs that he was banned for either time. I didn't ban him.
