Ive also driven both and have to say the hyundai is hardly a sportscar. Hyundai would like you to think otherwise. Every single thing about that car is just average. Not one single thing about it left any sort of impression on me. Other than how awkward it looks and how the exhaust sounded like it was going to fall off. The clutch was garbage too. Sorry, my truth. :p
The FRS left an impression of incredible neutrality, dialed in driving inputs and overall driver involvement. Negatives: definetly needs more power combined with a taller 6th.
