No, you are correct the Mustang Ecoboost is the 4 cylinder. When Ford introduced the Ecoboost it was the mid-level option, with the NA V6 below it and V8 above it. When Chevy introduced the 4 cylinder, it was (and is) the lowest option, below the V6 and V8. It competed with the V6 Mustang, and the V6 Camaro competes with the 4 cylinder Mustang. Ford no longer offers the V6, and in it's last year of production (2017) it wasn't available with any performance options.
