A couple times I went into my garage to find the IC water pump running, even though I hadn't driven the car in days. Once I turned the car on and then back off and it stopped. I figured it was a fluke, but now it happened for a third time (that I happened to notice) and stayed on for quite a while. I also noticed it seems to coincide with when the car is doing it's periodic pumping of something into the exhaust system (possibly something else, but I think that's what it does?).
I wonder if this is why I get slow cranking when starting the car sometimes, maybe it's wearing down the battery?
Anyone else notice this?
