As far as the cf roof, there have been two solutions I have seen. One is a cover and goes over the existing steel roof. The other is a replacement that requires the factory roof to be cut out. I verified with a bodywork person that it can be removed and replaced. A lot of work though for little weight loss.
Totally agree. When I had the hail damage repaired, they actually did kind of a gel-coat thing (I don't remember exactly) where they basically filled in the more minor dents and re-painted. Might actually be more robust now...at least I hope
