Agree that the stamped steel is thin. Price to pay for lightweight platform without the use of composites.

As far as the cf roof, there have been two solutions I have seen. One is a cover and goes over the existing steel roof. The other is a replacement that requires the factory roof to be cut out. I verified with a bodywork person that it can be removed and replaced. A lot of work though for little weight loss.
