I do not believe the valving are the same between b14 and b8.
B14 are valved to match the B14/B16 Springs.
B8 for lowering springs
B6 for OEM springs
I personally believe B14 is better for most people due to the fact that when it comes time for rebuilding, it is MUCHH cheaper than the B16 counterpart.
Also, you should have higher spring rates than you do with OEM which means it would be better for performance than say B6 with OEM springs, and probably B8 with Lowering Springs.
