What is the background to this, any logs?

What mods, what temps, what oil pressure, what fuel, what RPM?

Did they build/assemble the long motor and install?

Spun bearings are from lack of oil pressure, usually, was the oil pump damaged or lack of oil?

Were all oil galleries cleaned, were oil coolers, if installed, replaced?

What clearances, what grade oil?

How were the other bearings on tear down, any signs of discoloration?

Some more background would be good.

I've been through this before, turned out there was some metal in the heads oil gallery that caused a cam bearing to die. The metal was leftover from a catastrophic bottom end failure. I though I was saving money by not getting the head stripped/cleaned/rebuilt, ended up costing me another engine after the cam snapped.
