You can see here basically you losen the bottom lock nut and the entire shock body can be rotated to adjust height without changing pre-load.

Now the issue was on the other side we could not turn the shock body by hand so we actually had to remove the shock from the control arm which made it much easier to do.
We replace all nuts and suspension bolts as well so make sure you if you do what we did at the very least use red thread lock on all the bolts.
