Center of Gravity
If this has been talked about elsewhere, can't find it. Toyota claims the GT86's 460 mm C of G height is surpassed only by exotic cars like the Ferrari 360 and the Lexus LFA. I dug up a 2010 SAE paper that lists "driver only" centers of gravity measurements of older cars. As expected, almost all cars listed have higher C of Gs (e.g., the 2003 Honda S2000 is 471 mm). However, the 2003 Mazda Miata is only 450 mm. Does this car not count because it's not a coupe? Or did Toyota conveniently choose to ignore the Mazda?
