IDK about getting the lug nut off if the stud has its splines stripped at its base.

Once the nut does come off though; you should replace the whole hub, not just the stud. The splines that hold the stud in are not replaceable/repairable and are part of the hub.

Having said that; I find it weird that you stripped the splines. (if that is actually what has happened) Most just snap a stud...
