It's the perfect TT tire....in the right situation.
For instance the club I run with gives you 2.5pts for the Conti scrub or -2.5pts for the RE71R. So, you play the points game and run the RE71R as your TT only tire and practice on something less expensive and/or something longer lasting (NT01, Conti scrub, etc).
