After lurking around for awhile, I think its time to start a build of my own. I got my Scion FR-S in February shortly before graduating from college. Low miles, clean, no rust (I live in Pittsburgh) and a good price. The paint is good, a few chips on the front bumper from everyday driving, and the car is mechanically sound...oh, and its an automatic. I know, I know. This car is my daily driver at the moment so it will get low-ish until I get another car to navigate the Pittsburgh potholes. My build probably won't be quick (I'm paying the car and student loans off) and it might be dull in comparison to some other builds.
About the car:
- automatic 6 speed w/ paddle shifters (once again, I know)
- stock suspension (a jeep probably has less wheel gap)
- 13,xxx miles
What I've added to the car:
- clear sidemarkers
- switchback LED turn signals
- valenti red taillights w/ sequential turn signals
- toyota oem arm rest
- paddle shifter extensions
- gcs smoked 4th brake light/reverse light
- mxp comp rs exhaust
Stuff that I currently have planned:
- body kit (front lip, side skirts, rear lip)
- fog light kit
- bc coilovers (a little drop now, more in the future)
- flex fuel sensor/tune
- upgrade headlights to remove the yellow bulbs
