Yes it more than likely will improve your 0-60, but keep in mind that it will cut your top speed down by gearing your car lower(numerically higher) because your engine will spin faster quicker and reach high rpm's faster and in most cases make your mpg's lower as well, like a double edge sword. In ny opinion the stock gearing (which i only drive manuals anyway) is geared low enough as is.
